FCC Environment has been working with letsrecycle.com’s new show, Letsrecycle Live, through the provision of a bursary programme for a number of local authority recycling officers.
FCC’s bursary programme was open to those working in a local authority who have an operational, technical or administrative background covering waste and recycling issues.
the 18 successful applicant have received one night’s accommodation at the Stoneleigh venue’s onsite hotel as well as travel expenses to and from the event.
The scheme has been implemented to remove the financial barrier that some local authorities may face and enables them to discover what the show has to offer and to learn about both the latest policy and technological developments.
Those who have been granted a bursary will also acquire access to a dedicated theatre, which will provide two-days of content on valuable topics impacting the sector, as well as a number of networking and partnership opportunities during the event.
